I ran this team some and its closer to 2.5x for lisa because of the fusion ame.  The only issue i had was that with the fusion and yys in team, i only had 1 spot for utility.  I had to choose between a starter or hanzo.  Hanzo almost too good to pass up in this case.  Another casulty was m&m.  Plenty of options for arthur it seems.

妖 would be elves as far as TOS terminology goes.

So yeah Dragons, Beasts, Elves.

Thanks! The giant insects are elves then maybe? MH really seems to be going hard in on elves to give them two patches of content. Not that I'm complaining, I love my Rose team.

They've updated the post to say Demons instead of Elves. I'd like to think that Atlach-Nacha is a Beast, since it's a spider, but the only other ones we've got are Isabel and Tuchigumo of which neither are Beasts. Azathoth and Daoloth both look pretty Dragony.

Wonder why they got it wrong to begin with? The new Coliseum monster looks like a demon, but so did Hydra and he's an elf. Daoloth looks like a horse to me, but I know he's supposed to be like an indescribable geometric shape according to Cthulhu lore, so I'm hoping demon but thinking it will be a beast. Azathoth as a dark dragon leader that has some form of dark rune generation and alternate recovery method would be great for Novalis, then you could put members in that aren't converters.

We have info on two cards, Coliseum and SM. The seal cards are also confirmed to have feeders in the Adherents of Heresies, whose max skill level is raised to 10.

Mordiggian
Water Demon
Active: Convert the columns under two random Demons to Water. For 2 turns, Team ATK 1.5x and Water damage is superior on Earth attribute enemies.

Fthaggua

Fire Dragon
Active: For 1 turn, launch a chaser attack at 3x damage. If adjacent members  are Fire or Dragon, they also get the effect.

The new Dragonary Equipment will require 2 Equipment Essences and one 5* or card from a valid series to forge.

The equipment can give extra stats, reduced CD, conditional boost, etc.
Starters and Spiritors will be the first two series to get equipments.
Pattern, Seal, Spell, Amulet and Opal are the 5 types of usable crafts to forge these equipments with. Not sure if the card used is destroyed or is the one that gets improved.

Speedy.

Mordiggian's usefulness is pretty much restricted to Elizabeth team, which is like, alright, CG needs some more love and demons tend to lack converters. Hope his stats are good, otherwise CD 8 isn't quite worth.

Fire dragon for Nobu? He doesn't look too special, idk.

The new series looks so cool. Since this promo has what looks like evolved forms of the previous four revealed, I'm guessing it will be a standard limited seal then with 5* at draw and then evolve to 6*. Can't afford to build a brand new archetype team and then get cucked at CNY tho, so I might pass if the commons are no good.

MH really wants to punish me for not wanting to buy more inventory space and just decomposing dupes.

Mordiggian is a nice partial replacement for Beowulf, and he's a Demon too so there'll be at least one column (you can fix the column position too if there's less than 3 demons in the team). Probably could fit in PR Azazel.

Fthaggua might be pretty strong in a Novalis team, teamwide 4x at Cd6 is no joke. Mo Wang Zi, Kyo and fusions like Reindeer could all benefit too.

How is it a teamwide 4x? It's an extra attack at 3x for 3 members no? So it doesn't add to base attack, or does Novalis/MWZ still copy that? With Nov, I imagine just one extra attack which feels not great for CD6 even if it is 3x.

Since Novalis has the attack of the entire team, that extra 3x attack turns his damage from 1x team damage to 4x team damage. The effect is like a lesser Ursula, sharing to 3 other members at CD6.

It's not adding to base attack, but cards that boost their own base attack or have a high value to start with will benefit a lot from it. A MWZ dealing 10k damage now deals 40k damage, which is a big deal if that's where most of your burst that turn is coming from.

Masamune is better as 6x team damage at CD5, including minor dark conversion.

In other fire/dragon teams, it is ~2.5x at CD6 which is not bad.

Hmmm. I see. Like using Salonbus with ML. I thought it would be more like Strelitzia with ML, where ML's attack drain makes Strelitzia's extra attacks worse without any beneficial effect. By that logic though, it's still worse than Masamune, who is effectively a 5x at CD5 with Novalis. Maybe useful for wallbreaking.
