Semi-mono light with Cassandra
#1
Hi, I'm currently lvl86 and using the following deck

Minamoto 6* lvl50
Thor 6* lvl43
PKoL 5* lvl14
Persephone 5* lvl11
Cassandra 5* lvl46
ally: Persephone or Minamoto

This stats based team has decent recovery and a heal (PKoL), which goes well with Cassandra. In addition, during Cassandra's active the heart runes can still be used to attack due to Minamoto. There's decent life too (once evolved/levelled) which will make up for its lack of defense or crowd control.

does anyone know the answers to the following?
1. Whether Persephone's increase to recovery increases damage from Cassandra's active.
2. When using the heart runes to attack (Minamoto) during Cassandra's active, do those attacks also benefit from Cassandra's ability?
3. Which leader combination is better here?: Minamoto/Persephone or Minamoto/Minamoto.
M/M
+ 225% light damage
+ 100% heart rune damage (untested)
+ 100% recovery damage from cassandra's active (untested)
M/P
+ 300% light damage
+ 50% heart rune damage
+ 150% recovery damage from cassandra's active (untested)

I've only just started using this and can handle most situations quickly. I'll need to level/evolve before tackling grandmaster stages, but do any more experienced players have comments?

FYI: In addition, I also have the following cards, so if anyone see's something interesting, let me know!

LIGHT:
Idun 5* lvl41
GSoL 5* lvl52
Nathaniel 4* lvl35
Dragon from the holy side 4* lvl5

WATER:
Urd 5* lvl41
Cthulhu 5* lvl29
Crystalgon 4* lvl5

DARK:
Valkyrie 5* lvl41
Lubu 6* lvl1
Pollux 5* lvl1
GSoD 5* lvl16
Baphomet 5* lvl22
Isabell 5* lvl8
Dark Golem 5* lvl1

EARTH:
PKoE 5* lvl33
GSoE 5* lvl16
Medusa 5* lvl25
Freyja 5* lvl1
Unfortunate Knight 5* lvl1
Dragon from the starry side 4* lvl19

FIRE:
Armstrong (Taurus) 6* lvl44 (used to lead my defense deck vs. fire and eath)
GSoF 5* lvl64
Cerberus 4* lvl5

I've been pretty lucky with draws and farming/drops... but failed to get good mono leaders, except now for light.

!! Looking for Minamoto/Persephone allies: I'm rampage @ 16356759 !!

update:
I don't think Persephone's +150% to recovery increases the damage by Cassandra's "Frozen Heart".

By my calculations (below) M/M leadership provides exactly the same damage as M/P leadership.

assumptions:
With double Minamoto leadership, the effect of heart runes is 50% + 50% = 100% (the alternative is 50% * 50% = 75%)
Persephone +150% to RCR does not increase damage done by Cassandra's "Frozen Heart" ability.

Max level Minimoto:
attack: 1735
recovery: 396

With M/M leadership and Cassandra's active, Minamoto's attack with a heart rune would be the same as with a light rune:
(1735 + 2.5*396) * 1.5 * 1.5 * 1.0 = 6131

With M/P leadership and Cassndra's active, his attack on a heart rune and light rune differs.
Light rune: (1735 + 2.5*396) * 1.5 * 2.0 = 8175
Heart rune: (1735 + 2.5*396) * 1.5 * 2.0 * 0.5 = 4087

However, if bursting equal amounts of light and heart runes, average damage from M/P would be: (8175 + 4087) / 2 = 6131

Thus M/M and M/P leadership produce the exact same damage output.

However when Cassandra's "Frozen Heart" is not active, M/P leadership will have better recovery.

Now, I'm sure I have something wrong here, so anyone more knowledgeable please correct me =)

Just re-read what you posted. I think you understood her skills

Your post of the following should be
With M/M leadership and Cassandra's active, Minamoto's attack with a heart rune would be the same as with a light rune:
Light Rune (1735 + 2.5*396) * 1.5 * 1.5 = 6131
Heart Rune (1735 + 2.5*396) * 1 =2725

With M/P leadership and Cassndra's active, his attack on a heart rune and light rune differs.
Light rune: (1735 + 2.5*396) * 1.5 * 2.0 = 8175
Heart rune: (1735 + 2.5*396) * 1.5 * 2.0 * 0.5 = 4087

People are using M / P because of the high recovery..

If you're thinking of high damage output and utilizing Persephone's x2 properly.

Then i suggest Persephone and Solar Sirius (With M as team mate)
Light Rune : (1735 + 2.5*396) * 2 * 2.5 = 13625 for dissolving 3 light runes.

Compared with M/P
(Light + Heart) = 8175 + 4087 = 12262 for dissolving 6 runes.

If u do not have Persephone then M / S
(Light Rune: (1735 + 2.5*396) * 1.5 * 2.5 = 10218.75
Heart Rune: (1735 + 2.5*396) * 0.5 * 2.5 = 3406.25
Sub total = 13625 (6 Rune stones)

Thanks for clarifying!

It's unfortunate to hear that heart runes don't benefit from Minamoto's light damage multiplier.

I'm lucky enough to have both Persephone and Minamoto, so will be able to change depending which allies I have available (Solar Sirius included!). I can conclude 2 things.

1. Cassandra works well here (high RCR team and has a heal)

2. My leadership preference order for this team:

i. M/S - Can use heart runes (~33% damage but still enough vs. non-bosses). half moving time. Most versatile as Cassandra makes RCR irrelevant.

ii. P/S - Highest damage (~33% more than M/S). half moving time.

iii. P/M - Moderate damage (~20% less than M/S). can use heart runes. plenty of time to clear/form-combos. Most leisurely and least risky style.

iv. P/P - good damage (~7% more than M/S). full moving time. Better on a team without Cassandra in order to benefit from the increase in RCR.

v. M/M - not recommended. Subpar damage, especially with heart runes.

Ah, why didnt you mention you have sirius?

Then i strongly recommend

Solar Sirius
Light Paladin
Minamoto
Persephone
Cassandra
Lunar Sirius

It might not be a pure light deck,
But the output damage of x 9 is huge.

[1735 + 2.5*396] * 9 = 24525!

Let's put it in context,
U have a full team of 6 Minamoto = 8856 (3 light & 3 heart) x 6 = 53136 total damage.

In Sirius Team,
Let's exclude Lunar & Troy
Minamoto damage = 24525
Solar Damage = ()1302 + 213*2.5) * 9 = 16510.5
Light paladin Damage = (1107+ 429*2.5 ) * 9 = 19615.5
Persephone (1263 + 394 * 2.5) * 9 = 20232
Total damage = 80883 total damage!

Comparing the difference, i need to dissolve 6 runes (Heart & light) compared to just 3 light runes to gain almost 60% more damage...

Anyway, this is rough calculation, might havemistakes. cheers

I Don't have Sirius (maybe next year! =( ). But I have plenty of allies with Sirius (who must like to play with Minamoto). Once I get Persephone up to speed, I'm not sure yet which one Sirius players would want more.
