[GUIDE] Comprehensive Zodiac Farming Guide

Hi everyone! Since there were quite a few requests for more information, I've taken the time to compile all the data and present it to all of you fine ladies and gentleman! Hope you enjoy the read and find something useful here Smile

For those that don't know yet, zodiac battles are located at the top right of your screen, the cute flying dragon thing, "Traveler's Memories".

Zodiac stages were introduced a while back, and since their inception many have switched over to farming them. Read on to find out why!

Monsters Encountered in Each Element

Firstly, let's get to know the friendly foes we'll be facing off in each element. Data compiled off Chinese ToS wiki, zh.tos.wikia.com

(I will only be covering Master Stages here, as that is the most commonly farmed difficulty)

NOTE: Bonus Days are stated next to each zodiac stage, with Sunday being random...meaning on Sunday, any one of the 6 zodiacs from each chapter can have a bonus again. CHAPTER 1 ZODIAC

Aries (Bonus Day: Monday/Sunday)

Recommended Teams: Any offensive deck, preferably with decent recovery. Mono teams make short work of stage 3/8.

Gemini (Bonus Day: Wednesday/Sunday)

Whittle down each Gemini to time your last attack to finish both, or just burst through!
Recommended Teams: Any offensive deck, preferably with decent recovery.

Cancer (Bonus Day: Thursday/Sunday)

Comments: Straightforward battles. Watch out if 2x Metallic Leopard King have the same CD.
Cancer may be a problem to teams with low recovery.
Recommended Teams: Any offensive deck, preferably with decent recovery.

Leo (Bonus Day: Friday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Holy Side (Attk: 20000// CD: 4// HP: 16// DEF: 40000// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
7/8: Griffin King x 2 (Attk: 6047// CD: 4// HP: 194070// DEF: 19// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Leo (Attk: 5424// CD: 2// HP: 353025// DEF: 20// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Puzzle, must dissolve runestones within box to deal damage.
Comments: Pholus has Enchanted Shield, can be very irritating. Watch out if 2x Griffin King have the same CD.
Stage 3/8 may be challenging for teams which cannot deal >40000 damage or deal 16 hits in 4 turns. If bringing rainbow team try to focus on dissolving each colour every turn.
Leo can be a pain in the butt if you are bringing PKoE-based team.
Recommended Teams: Mono for stage 3/8 and for an easier time dealing with Leo.

Virgo (Bonus Day: Saturday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Holy Side (Attk: 5092// CD: 2// HP: 241230// DEF: 10// DROP: Gold a Chest or Astropiece)
7/8: Metallic Wolf King x 2 (Attk: 6021// CD: 4// HP: 143563// DEF: 10// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Virgo (Attk: 3219// CD: 1// HP: 108506// DEF: 20// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Overheal, must heal more than your maximum HP to deal damage.
Comments: Pholus has Enchanted Shield, can be very irritating. Watch out if 2x Metallic Wolf King have the same CD.
Virgo is a HUGE pain if you can't do a lot of recovery. Fox, Skuld, Gluttinous Slime can be really good here for burst healing.
Recommended Teams: Leave your dragon teams at home. Medium damage teams with HIGH HIGH HIGH recovery will be optimal here.

CHAPTER 2 ZODIAC

Libra (Bonus Day: Monday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Holy Side (Attk: 5092// CD: 2// HP: 241230// DEF: 10// DROP: Gold a Chest or Astropiece)[/u][/b]
7/8: Metallic Wolf King x 2 (Attk: 6021// CD: 4// HP: 143606// DEF: 386// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Libra (Attk: 4121// CD: 2// HP: 108506// DEF: 20// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Light & Dark Shield, must dissolve Light and Dark runes in order to deal damage, doesn't need to be light or dark damage.
Comments: Pholus has Enchanted Shield, can be very irritating. Watch out if 2x Metallic Wolf King have the same CD.
By far the easiest Zodiac to defeat, Libra usually gets 1-2 shotted by any decent attack team.
Recommended Teams: Any deck. Yes, any.

Scorpio (Bonus Day: Tuesday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Dark Side (Attk: 5055// CD: 2// HP: 289840// DEF: 10// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
7/8: Baphomet x 2 (Attk: 6076// CD: 4// HP: 174452// DEF: 19// DROP: Gold a Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Scorpio (Attk: 5822// CD: 2// HP: 338755// DEF: 20// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Kamikaze, deals 5000 damage upon death
Comments: Straightforward battles. Watch out if 2x Metallic Leopard King have the same CD.
Ensure you have over 5000HP when you deal the killing blow to Scorpio.
Recommended Teams: Any offensive deck, preferably with decent recovery.

Sagittarius (Bonus Day: Wednesday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Starry Side (Attk: 20000// CD: 4// HP: 16// DEF: 40000// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
7/8: Medusa x 2 (Attk: 6386// CD: 4// HP: 173611// DEF: 10 // DROP: Gold a Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Sagittarius (Attk: 6734// CD: 3// HP: 381058// DEF: ?// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Affinity, changes Fire runes to Earth runes every turn.
Comments: Straightforward battles. Watch out if 2x Medusa have the same CD. Stage 3/8 may be challenging for teams which cannot deal >40000 damage or deal 16 hits in 4 turns. If bringing rainbow team try to focus on dissolving each colour every turn.
Sagittarius is a pretty easy boss for any mono team (except Fire obviously). PKoE-based teams! Don't count on your PKoE dealing much damage cos there are too many Earth runes running around every turn Tongue
Recommended Teams: Non fire-mono. Try not bring double PKoE.

Capricorn (Bonus Day: Thursday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Starry Side (Attk: 4628// CD: 4// HP: 268750// DEF: 10// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
7/8: Metallic Rhino King x 2 (Attk: 5840// CD: 4// HP: 154588// DEF: 10 // DROP: Gold a Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Capricorn (Attk: 2244// CD: 1// HP: 342581// DEF: 250// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Double Strike
Comments: Straightforward battles. Watch out if 2x Metallic Rhino King have the same CD.
Capricorn (Crapicorn? lol Tongue) isn't much of a challenge. Similar to Poppy.
Recommended Teams: Any offensive deck, preferably with decent recovery.

Aquarius (Bonus Day: Friday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Misty Side (Attk: 20000// CD: 4// HP: 16// DEF: 4000// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
7/8: Cthulu x 2 (Attk: 6417// CD: 4// HP: 174547// DEF: 10 // DROP: Gold a Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Aquarius (Attk: 1200// CD: 1// HP: 321100// DEF: 160// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Orbs, explained below
Comments: Straightforward battles. Watch out if 2x Cthulu have the same CD. Stage 3/8 may be challenging for teams which cannot deal >40000 damage or deal 16 hits in 4 turns. If bringing rainbow team try to focus on dissolving each colour every turn.
Aquarius is one tricksy bugger. Good luck with your combos.

Here's how the Orbs work (Credit to Metacreeper, poor guy had to explain it about 20 times already Tongue)
-3 to 6 orbs will appear. They represent the number of combos you need to get to deal 100% damage and to change the enemy's CD to 2 for that turn or simply put it will not attack.
-For every combo you missed, an orb will light up and the number of orbs that are lit up at the end is the number of attacks the enemy will do to you.
-If you miss one combo your damage is reduced. 2 combos missed will have it further reduced. 3 or more combos missed will result in 1 damage done to the enemy.
-Freeze (Urd/Medusa) will not affect the orbs. The number of orbs change every turn (sometimes they change to the same number)

Recommended Teams: Mono may be preferred here for stage 3/8 and firing off attacks on Aquarius with the right amount of combos. Double Greek may have a hard time because of this?

Pisces (Bonus Day: Saturday/Sunday)
3/8: Dragon of the Misty Side (Attk: 4911// CD: 2// HP: 249770// DEF: 10// DROP: Gold Chest or Astropiece)
7/8: Metallic Shark King x 2 (Attk: 5954// CD: 2// HP: 147811// DEF: 10 // DROP: Gold a Chest or Astropiece)
Boss: Pisces (Attk: 5282// CD: 2 // HP: 323480// DEF: 160// DROP: Guaranteed Astropiece) *Immune to Crowd Control Skills
Comments: Straightforward battles. Watch out if 2x Metallic Shark King have the same CD.
Pisces isn't really tough as you don't need Crowd Control to beat the two sisters anyway.
Recommended Teams: Any offensive deck, preferably with decent recovery.

???Which Zodiac Is Easiest To Farm???

Libra gets my vote! Super low hp with a very easy damage condition. Ones to avoid unless you have the right deck are Leo, Virgo and Aquarius (this is the type of boss where you feel REALLY bad and unlucky after a 10-combo =/).

Leveling Tips and Strategies

1. 15 stamina for 1500 exp. Best exp per stamina point spent ratio in the game! (not including special events and bonus on islands)
2. Drops lvl 3 (Witch, Gnome, Salamander, Elf) and level 6 (Fractured Guardians and Greek Beasts)
3. If farmed on astro piece bonus day, gives around 13 pieces every 6 runs. On non-astro piece bonus days, gives around 7 for every 6 runs.

So, lets take for example on astro piece bonus day, you do 5 runs to get you 10-11 astro pieces, enough for EX stage. You farm EX stage, enough to get the great SS and the 3rd fractured guardian.

Means you invest 75 stamina, you net:

1 great SS (worth 30,000 exp)
2 stones (worth 3,000 exp each, more importantly 2x let's you evolve max level Fractured Guardian)
3 level 10 fractured guardians (worth 8,650 exp each)
3-6 [level 3 Witches(best food in game haha), level 6 Fractured Guardians (worth 5170 exp)
4-6 level 3 [Gnome, Salamander, Elf, Rare Beast, worth 2,000 - 3,000 exp each]
1-3 Greek Beasts (Worth a whopping 5150 exp, gives bonus to Zodiac cards!!!)
1-2 [Astralists, Fortune Tellers worth 4,700 exp and 4,000 exp respectively]

Things to take note:
3x level 3 [Gnome/Salamander] fed to a lvl 6 Fractured Guardian will max its level.
2x level 3 Elf fed to a lvl 6 Fractured Guardian will do the same as above.
1x [Astralist, Fortune Teller, Greek Beast] will do the same as above.
2x level 3 [Gnome, Salamander] fed to a lvl 10 Fractured Guardian will max its level.

2x level 10 Fractured Guardian fed to a lvl 3 Witch will make it level 14 (4% exp excess).
3x Greek Beast + 1 [Gnome/Salamander] fed to a lvl 3 witch will make it lvl 14 (11% exp excess)

A max level Fractured Guardian will give 13,000 exp
An evolve Guardian will give 25,000 exp

REMEMBER TO ADD 50% FOR ALL EXP NUMBERS MENTIONED ABOVE FOR FEEDING TO SAME ELEMENT

For Fractured Guardians / Guardians / Greek Beasts being fed to a Zodiac Card, remember to add ANOTHER 50%!! (evolved Guardian fed to a Zodiac Card = 25,000 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 56,250 exp!!!)
