[Discussion+Strategy+Info] Defense×Chimera King×Guard - Horror Stage

Brief stage info/notes: 
Any stage that can clear horror can probably also clear beginner.
Stages 1-6 are pretty straightforward.
Skills for the boss are similar to horror:
7a) Initial attack (probably not meant to be 4m damage), and adds a debuff that causes you to take 500 damage for each step moved, for the next 3 turns. So bring a card that can remove debuffs or push it off the screen.
7b) 100% HP reduction, enchanted puzzle shield but you can go outside the lines.

Horror: 
1) 2x attack for humans for 7 rounds
2) Initial hit converts a column to water. Does extra attacks and nullifies damage for each water combo in initial dissolve
3) Masks the entire board after you kill it
4a) One mob requires you to dissolve all dark to damage it. The other one requires you to dissolve no dark to damage it. 
5a) Enchanted shield, initial hit converts columns 2 and 5 to light runes
5b) 8 combo shield EX
6) Enchantress reset, masked trail EX
7a) Reduces HP to 1, and adds a debuff that causes you to take 1000 damage for each step moved, for the next 3 turns. 
7b) 100% HP reduction, enchanted puzzle shield and you can't go outside the lines

Sample Teams: 
Beginner: 
Dual Rose + Cornflower, 2x boosters, time tunnel

1-6) Just spin through, getting CD ready
7a) Remove the debuff using Cornflower, Rose, Cactus
7b) White Tailed Vixen or Gluttonous Slime as time tunnel can be useful to fill in the puzzle shield. Full burst here with whatever is left.




Horror: 
22k Point Clear with Dual Daoloth + PR Pluma, Sirius Fusion, VR Ra

1) Spin, Fuse Sirius when ready, spin 7 turns here
Remember where light runes are when moving from stage 3 to 4. 
Spin once to kill right mob, then Sirius skill 1 to clear the masked runes and kill the other mob. 
5b) Ally Daoloth
6) Sirius full board convert
7a) Push the debuff off the screen with Pluma, Sirius skill 1, Daoloth
7b) Ra and DC, fill in the puzzle

Daoloth, pluma, fenrir, chickie, daoloth. DC ignore puzzle
1~3 spin
4. Kill right sphinx. Use dc to uncover all runes (before fusing fenrir). Fuse fenrir when daoloth only 2cd away to use. Kill the left sphinx
5a. Just spin
5b. Activate 1 daoloth spin.
6. Spin
7a. Full heal with chickie. Activate pluma spin
7b. Daoloth+fenrir fullboard+dc
Should score 25~26k easily.

Can someone explain it to me how did Hsu manage to fullboard convert 7b round without dc, if the boss says "runestones adjacent to the frame cannot be dissolved together"

in this video timestamp @ 2:34 :






Does the ignore puzzle shield last for 2 rounds? As he only activated his dc at 7a, not 7b


Edit : some wiki user said they can be dissolved adjacent, its either wrong data or error. Hope it stays the way it is.

Bug in the skill, you CAN actually dissolve adjacent runes together. Cannot be fixed easily, they either need to release a game update or assign a different enemy skill.

Currently farming with dual Azathoth.

Azathoth + PR Ursula / PR Novalis / PR Nidhogg / Fire Lionel + Azathoth (Enchanting DC)

Wave 1: Free pass.
Wave 2: Stack Water and go.
Wave 3: 1C until Azathoth is CD1, then kill.
Wave 4: Azathoth to kill one mob, stack Dark to kill other mob. Take note if Fire Lionel's column has Dark when dissolving all Dark.
Wave 5.1: Spin through.
Wave 5.2: Spin through.
Wave 6: Novalis + Azathoth.
Wave 7.1: Fire Lionel, then heal with Nidhogg and overwrite the debuff with Nidhogg's multiplier active + Ursula. Dissolve Enchanted Earth and Water, then DC.
Wave 7.2: Match the Puzzle Shield.

Replacing Daoloth with Fire Lionel can let you run Mono Dragon, although I kind of like Fire Lionel's time extension at Stage 7.1. With Daoloth is an easy 22k, I'm getting 21k with Fire Lionel so far.
